-cowards?-
After my close observations, i have come to a conclusion that guys are not that brave afterall. I'm not being a feminist here but from what i have observed, i believe that they are really actually very timid and shy. Maybe not all guys, but some.
Okay. You must be asking what observations is it that i have made. Well, it has something to do with the word that we are all concerned with, LOVE. Contary to popular believe that guys will always make the first move when they find a girl they like, i beg to differ. Simply because many of the male friends that i know will keep their feelings to themself. They would rather keep mum about their feelings than to suffer the terrible humiliation and pain of being rejected. Is pride all that important when it comes to getting the love of your life? If one truly and really like the person, isn't it better to throw away your pride and just go for it regardless of what the outcome may be?
Some of my guy friends have asked me how they should go about wooing this girl that they like. I mean like, hello? i'm not exactly the person you should be talking to. If you like the girl just go straight up to her and say " hi! i'm [ whatever your name is]. Do you know me? i'm just interested in being your friend." Or maybe, if you all are already friends, just start a conversation and maybe in the conversation try asking her how she feels about you. Why do guys always have to go through a middle person like the girl's friend or what? You all are the ones who are supposed to have more guts. Make use of it.
And i will always pity the friend. It's like if they both get together, and they have some problems between them, the friend will be the one consoling both sides. Then he/she will be the middle person passing messages from one side to the other. Believe me. I have been in that position before and it was not a very nice experience. It's no joke to console two parties. When they have patched up, they will be happy and you will be the one so tired from all those passing of messages and another thing, your handphone bill will be a bomb! Hmm..Maybe not.
So back to the topic. I believe that guys are not all that shy. Well, maybe they are trying to act like the sensitive new age guy (SNAG) but seriously, be braver when on your quest for true love. If not true love may just slip you by.
P.S: i'm not trying to offend anybody here. But if i really do, i apologise. Please forgive me.
