-Friendship versus Love-
Been staying at home the past few days. Absolute boredom. The things being cooped up at home can do to a person is horrible.
Watched some crappy television programmes on the free channel. I don't even haf cable TV to watch. How pathetic is my life?
Anyway, from the crappy show i found out that everybody have similar experiences. Couples usually start out as friends. Being friends, they would have lots of things to talk about. At least that is the time where you are able to just crap and have fun hanging out with each other. When you officially become a couple things just change.
The boyfriend will start feeling that you are a nag and everytime you try to talk to him he just does not seem to be interested anymore. Everytime you get close to him, he will pull away from you thinking, 'Can you not come so near me? Tsk! Why are you standing so near me? Don't touch me.' Stuff like that. [quoted from the host of the show]
Its as if they are trying to show other girls that they are unattached trying to tell them that they are still available. I guess that's just the way guys are built. Why give up the whole forest just for one tree. By looking available, they would have a chance to meet other girls and maybe an even prettier and hotter girl than his current girlfriend.
The host then ended the show saying, "That's why some girls prefer to remain friends with the guy because at least then, they would have more things to say to each other."
Sometimes guys are so weird. Why do they do that when obviously they like the girl? People say girls are complicated creatures whom you can never understand. I beg to differ. I think guys are the more complicated ones. You never know what's going on in their minds.
Sigh. Another boring day stuck at home. I need to go out!
